Each August we build and blast off water rockets! Ever seen what decorating a 2 liter bottle and adding 20oz water and pumping air to 50psi will do?
For two Saturdays in November we hang over 1,800 door hangers in Parkside and then the following Saturday we collect the donations and fill a truck with food for families in need,
Parkside School allows us to meet at the school and in turn we do community service projects for them like painting the playground.
Each year in late May just before Memorial Day scouts place a flag on each of the 119,000 graves at Golden Gate National Cemetery in usually foggy San Bruno. In 2010, 2,500 scouts placed the flags in 2 hours and of all the Cub Scouts there KPIX-5 News interviewed Cubmaster Donn's son Connor (not Carter) and our former Committee Chair's daughter Brianna whose grandpa is at rest there. Since 2016 we moved our operation closer to home at Saint Johns Cemetery in San Mateo.
